FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! All processing happens entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your computer or get uploaded to any server.
There are no hard limits, but extremely large images (over 10,000 pixels) may cause browser performance issues due to memory constraints.
The preview shows real-time adjustments, but the final download applies all filters and compression. If they differ significantly, try increasing the quality setting.
Currently, this tool processes one image at a time. For multiple images, process each one separately.
Yes! When using PNG format, transparency is preserved. JPEG format will convert transparent areas to white.
WebP generally provides better compression than JPEG at similar quality levels, resulting in smaller file sizes. However, WebP isn’t supported by very old browsers.
The download button activates only after you upload an image. Make sure you’ve selected a valid image file first.
The estimate is based on compression algorithms and quality settings. Actual file size may vary slightly, usually within 10% of the estimate.
While there’s no multi-step undo, you can: Click “Reset” to return to original settings Manually adjust sliders back to original values Re-upload the image to start fresh
Rotating by 90° increments (as this tool does) is lossless and doesn’t reduce quality. The image is simply reoriented.
Maintaining aspect ratio prevents distortion (stretching or squishing). Unlock it only when you intentionally want to change proportions.
Yes! The interface is fully responsive and works on smartphones and tablets. Touch controls are optimized for mobile use.
Changing format may affect: File size (WebP/JPEG are smaller than PNG) Quality (JPEG uses lossy compression) Features (PNG supports transparency)
Currently, cropping isn’t available. This tool focuses on resizing and enhancement. For cropping, consider using a dedicated image editor first.
Heavy blur effects on large images require significant processing. For better performance, resize first, then apply blur.
Settings aren’t saved between sessions. For consistent results, note your preferred settings or bookmark the page with parameters.
