How to Use QR Decoder For Free
Basic Scanning Methods:
1. Upload Image File
- Step 1: Click on the upload area (blue dashed box) or drag and drop a QR code image
- Step 2: Select any image file (PNG, JPG, JPEG, etc.) containing a QR code
- Step 3: The tool automatically processes and displays the decoded text
2. Live Camera Scan
- Step 1: Click the “Scan with Camera” button (purple button with camera icon)
- Step 2: Allow camera access when prompted
- Step 3: Point your camera at a QR code
- Step 4: The tool automatically detects and decodes the QR code
- Step 5: Click “Stop Camera” to end scanning
Result Management:
Copy Results:
- Click the “Copy Result” button to copy decoded text to clipboard
- Visual feedback appears at bottom of screen when copied successfully
Save Results:
- Click the “Save as TXT” button to download the result as a text file
- File is automatically named with date stamp
Advanced Features:
Scan History:
- Click the “Scan History” feature button to view past scans
- History stores up to 20 most recent scans
- Click any history item to reload that result
Other Features:
